About SalahStreak

What it is

SalahStreak helps you track daily masjid attendance with a simple check-in flow. You get a daily streak, per-prayer streaks, and a quick “last 7 days” view to see how you’re doing.

How streaks work

• Daily streak: any check-in on a day counts.
• Per-prayer streaks: tracked separately for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.
• Masjid-specific streak: tracked per masjid without punishing you for visiting another masjid.

Your masjid streak increments only when you check in at that masjid; it resets only if there’s a full day with no check-in anywhere.

Check-ins & timing windows

Masjids set iqamah times and a check-in window (minutes before/after). Check-in is only enabled when you’re inside an active window and streaks aren’t paused.

Location verification

For masjids that have an address and coordinates configured, check-ins can verify that you’re near the masjid (to reduce accidental or remote check-ins).

Recurring donations (optional)

You can add a payment method and set a daily donation goal. Your goal is divided by your daily prayer goal to compute a per-check-in amount. Donations accumulate through the day and are charged once daily after Isha when the total reaches at least $1.

• Default masjid: if set, donations always accumulate for that masjid.
• Opt-ins: if no default masjid, you choose which masjids can receive donations when you check in there.

Accountability Pledge (optional)

If you enable an accountability pledge, missed prayers you choose can trigger a charge (your chosen amount). Pledges go to SalahStreak (platform), while donations go to masjids.

Masjid verification

Masjids can submit verification (phone + EIN or documents). Verified masjids display a badge to help donors make informed choices.

Privacy & security

• Payment details are handled by Stripe; the app stores only a payment method reference.
• You can choose to display your name or remain anonymous on leaderboards.
• Admin tools are separated from user flows for safety and clarity.
